Julian works with Parkinson’s UK

This week in Parliament, Julian had a really positive meeting with Laura from Parkinson’s UK where they discussed:
– Encouraging more people to train and specialise in Parkinson’s care.
– Breaking down the misconception that Parkinson’s only impacts older people.
– Greater investment in research and development.
– An initiative to keep Parkinson’s sufferers active.
Following this meeting, Julian will be writing to our local ICB to stress the need for more Parkinson’s nurses in the area, arranging meetings with ministers, and applying for a debate in Parliament to stress the need for investment in Parkinson’s care.
