BBC Radio York – Julian discusses Tier 2 Financial Support

Julian spoke to Georgey Spanswick on BBC Radio York to discuss the new financial support package announced by the Chancellor this week for businesses in Tier 2.

While new grants and an upgrade to the Job Support Scheme will provide vital short-term assistance, the best thing for our city remains to move back to Tier 1 lockdown measures as soon as it is safe to do so.

We all have a responsibility to adhere to safety measures that help limit the spread of the virus to ensure York only remains in Tier 2 for a short a time as necessary.
