Update: Explosion at House in Haxby

This morning at approximately 7.30am there was an explosion at a property on Springwood in Haxby, and it has been reported that a man has sadly lost his life.
This afternoon Julian visited the scene to speak to local residents and the emergency services who were in attendance.
Commenting Julian said, “It is with great sadness that I learned about this morning’s explosion. My thoughts are with the family and friends of the gentleman who has passed away, as well as neighbouring residents who have been affected.
“I am aware that some people have expressed concerns about the security of their properties, and I have raised this matter directly with the authorities at the scene.
