UNICEF Coffee Morning in Poppleton

September 30, 2023

Julian joined Coffee on the Green in Poppleton for their monthly charity coffee morning. This month funds were being raised for UNICEF and thanks to the generosity of the local community over £1,100 will be going to support the charity’s incredible work.

Speaking at the coffee morning, Julian said:

“An incredible thank you to the organisers as well as to the local community for their generosity.

“UNICEF do incredible work and this money will help the most vulnerable across the world. I will be meeting representatives from the charity next month in Parliament when I attend an event on ‘Tackling the global nutrition crisis: How the UK can play a pivotal role’.

“I look forward to more monthly charity coffee mornings at Poppleton Methodist Church and learning more about the causes they support. “
