March 26, 2020

A number of constituents who are struggling to return home to the UK have contacted Julian for assistance as flights from most destinations are now becoming limited or unavailable.

Yesterday, Julian wrote to the Foreign Secretary on behalf of his constituents in Australia and New Zealand calling for the Government to organise repatriation flights, while liaising with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office as well as British Consular officials regarding his constituents in Peru, Pakistan, Australia and New Zealand.

Julian understands negotiations are currently ongoing to arrange repatriation flights from several destinations worldwide and he will continue to keep constituents who have contacted him informed of the latest information he receives from Ministers within the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
