Julian Welcomes Ed Young – Conservative Candidate for York Central

May 5, 2017

Julian has welcomed Ed Young’s selection as the Conservative Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for York Central in the upcoming General Election. Ed was formally selected to contest the seat by York Conservatives on Sunday and has wasted no time in hitting the campaign trail.

Commenting after Ed’s selection, Julian said:

“Ed is a strong local candidate with wide experience. He is passionate about our city and I am encouraged by his positive vision for securing investment and promoting business here in York. Party members and supporters are excited about the campaign ahead and Ed is ready to take the fight directly to the Labour party.

The Conservative party is being very clear in this election; we are selecting dedicated candidates and have a strong and competent leader.”
