Julian visits Poppleton Village Show

Julian was pleased to see lots of residents and visitors supporting Poppleton Village Show today.
There were some great stands raising money for local causes such as the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the village library.
Julian enjoyed talking to library volunteers about the summer reading challenge for school children and the weekly story time for under fives – both fantastic initiatives.
After the past two years community events like this are even more special and it is good to see residents eagerly welcoming their return.
