Julian visits Pattacakes bakery as part of Small Business Saturday

December 3, 2022

Today sees the return of Small Business Saturday which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.

Julian was once again delighted to support this great initiative by visiting an assortment of small businesses within the constituency. He regularly meets and engages with local businesses to learn more about the vital work they do, which helps inform the work that he does in Westminster.

For his second stop, Julian visited Pattacake bakery in Dunnington. This artisan bakery sells a range of tasty treats, including fresh baked breads and cakes. While Julian was in the bakery, customers never stopped coming through the door so you know everything tastes great!

Speaking after the visit, Julian commented:

“It was great to hear how the bakery had worked with other local businesses to keep villagers supplied during the pandemic and that local residents had rewarded them for going the extra mile by continuing to shop with them ever since.

The bakery is an incredible asset for the village and I am sure their goods will continue to be in high demand. Their sourdough loaf and boozy pound cake did not last long once I made it home!”
