Julian visits new Fulford care home

October 9, 2020

Julian recently visited the new Ouse View care home for a socially-distanced tour of the facilities.

After two years of construction, the Fulford home formally opened its doors to resident admissions on September 1st this year. It has capacity for residential and dementia care for 64 people.

Julian said: “It was a pleasure to visit Ouse View, which looks set to provide a comfortable and peaceful home for York senior citizens.

Given around a quarter of Outer York’s population is already over the age of 65, this home is a very welcome addition to current local residential elderly and dementia care capacity.

The team’s professionalism and enthusiasm impressed upon me that they are totally committed to protecting the health of residents at this challenging time.

This pleasant, modern facility definitely contributes to the local environment, and widens the choices available to local families when seeking high-quality care for loved ones in our city.”
