Julian tours new Accident and Emergency department at York Hospital

Ahead of being open for patients on Monday, Julian toured York Hospital’s new Accident and Emergency department to see the state of the art facilities that has been upgraded after a two-year project backed by government funding.
The new department will increase treatment capacity, create a dedicated area for pediatric admissions and will improve the overall patient experience.
With the new A&E opening on Monday, the plan is to convert the existing A&E into a large area to provide more emergency care and prevent patients having to go to different parts of the hospital.
