Julian Sturdy MP Christmas Card Competition
October 31, 2021
Julian has written to Primary Schools across York Outer to invite students to take part in a competition to design his Christmas card.
Each year Julian send hundreds of Christmas cards across the constituency to residents, community groups, businesses and charities as well as to his parliamentary colleagues, including the Prime Minister. This year he wants to showcase the local artistic talent we have in our schools to help spread festive joy.
Julian’s Christmas card competition is open to all pupils up to and including those in year 4, and all entries should be submitted on A4 paper in felt tip pen. For reproduction purposes he would appreciate if pupils avoid using glitter or sticking anything on to their pictures.
The winner of the competition and two runners up will have their designs featured on Julian’s official Christmas card as well as receiving prizes from the Houses of Parliament gift shop.
If any children in York Outer in Year 4 or below would like to enter the competition, they can also send their entries directly to my office at 1 Ash Street, York, YO26 4UR. Entries must be received by Monday November 15.
