Julian meets City Cruises to discuss York’s tourism sector

As part of our city’s recovery from the pandemic, Julian has met with many businesses and leaders from the hospitality and tourism sector to see how the industry is bouncing back. For his latest visit, Julian visited City Cruises at their boatyard under Lendal Bridge to see how the business had adapted in 2022.
While conversations were optimistic, the looming shadow of the pandemic has now been replaced with rising costs, both for the business as well as the consumer who will have limited expendable income.
Julian promised to continue discussions in the new year where he hopes to bring a delegation of York hospitality and tourist businesses to meet with the Minister.
