Julian makes Christmas visit to the Birch Park Royal Mail Delivery Centre

Julian made his annual Christmas visit to the Birch Park Delivery Centre today to say thank you to all the postmen and women for all their hard work in the run up to the festive season.
Julian was shown around the office by Delivery Office Manager, Graham Pickering, and was introduced to the postmen and women who are sorting and delivering the Christmas mail across York.
Following his visit, Julian said “It was great to meet the team again at the Birch Park Delivery Centre in my constituency. It is clear that the postmen and women do a fantastic job sorting and delivering the post for the residents of York. Without them many of our Christmas presents would go amiss. They do an excellent job at such a busy time of year and I would like to thank them for all their hard work over the busy festive season.”
Graham Pickering, Royal Mail Delivery Office Manager at Birch Park, commented “Our postmen and women are working extremely hard to deliver Christmas cards, letters and parcels to people across Birch Park. We are grateful that Julian visited the office to see our operation and to support the team.”
