Julian Makes Christmas Post Office Visit

December 16, 2014

Julian made his annual Christmas visit to Royal Mail in York to say thanks for their hard work in the particularly busy festive period.

Julian met with the manager of the Birch Park Sorting Office on Huntington Road, Graham Pickering, and his team to wish them luck over Christmas, and to express his gratitude for their service to York’s residents throughout the year.

After his visit Julian said, “I was delighted to once again visit Royal Mail in the run up to Christmas in what is undoubtedly their busiest time of the year.

“In August I went out on a delivery route with one of our local postmen, and it is interesting to see all the work that goes into the postal process – from sorting office to delivery route.

“I would like to thank all employees at Royal Mail in York for their fantastic work every year.”
