Julian joins 73,000 York residents by getting boosted

December 17, 2021

Today Julian joined the 25 million people nationally and the 73,000 people in York who have received their booster jab to top-up their protection against covid-19.

Julian has always been clear that our route out of the pandemic is through a successful vaccination programme and he was reassured to see so many people coming to receive their booster jab today.

After receiving his jab, Julian said:

“I would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and volunteers at Askham Bar vaccination centre and all the other vaccination sites across the city who are ensuring York can be vaccinated and strengthening our fight against the virus.

If you haven’t already, please book your booster jab appointed to make sure you remain protected this winter.”
