Julian attends RevivR CPR training

Julian was pleased to attend a drop in event in Parliament hosted by The British Heart Foundation to learn more about CPR and The British Heart Foundation’s great initiative, RevivR.

This event provided a briefing on the fantastic free, interactive, online CPR training course which offers people the opportunity to gain the vital lifesaving skill of CPR and receive a personal CPR training certificate.

It is a sad reality that many of us will indeed witness someone having a cardiac arrest at one stage in our lives and therefore it is important that as many people as possible learn the lifesaving skill of CPR.

Last year, Julian visited Fulford School as part of Restart a Heart Day, which is a dedicated day in October aimed at increasing public awareness of cardiac arrests and increase the number of people trained in delivering lifesaving CPR.

Following the event Julian commented,

“It was great to learn more about the brilliant work that The British Heart Foundation do through their RevivR initiative. It is so important that we equip as many people as possible with the necessary lifesaving skill of CPR to ensure that when the worst happens, people have the best chance of survival possible.
